Jenkat's founders come from Fox Interactive Media where they built much of Fox's casual games business and provided games for MySpace.com, AmericanIdol.com and other Fox properties. In November of 2006, Fox sold its casual games division to Demand Media, Inc. for an estimated $20 million.

Jenkat's games appeal mostly to women 35+, who not only hold the majority of buying power in today's families, but also are the fastest growing sector of casual gamers online. Jenkat has released two games - Cafe Mahjongg and Finders Keepers and is currently developing two more for distribution on the Internet. Jenkat has also launched a consumer-facing game website of its own with original and exclusive game content at www.JenkatGames.com, with plans to add social tools that Jenkat believes will differentiate itself from other online gaming portals and communities.

Jenkat monetizes consumers in a variety of ways. Projected revenue streams include the distribution of Jenkat games as downloads on 3rd party websites, as well as through CD-ROM's in major brick-and-mortar retail stores. As Jenkat's games prove popular, alternative markets such as mobile phones and game consoles & handhelds (i.e. Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3 and PSP, and Nintendo Wii and DS) provide a brand new opportunity to monetize Jenkat games to a larger and more diverse audience.
